I’m convinced that the crosses we bear are in the shape of a ( t ) to let us know His Truth/Strength is in our struggles. Anxiety, addiction and depression are common, and though controversial to say, they’re part of being a human. Understanding that medication is needed for critical conditions, is humanity medicating to compensate for the pain of change – treating Symptoms, not the Cause ? Is the cause Spiritual, Mental or Physical or a combination of these ? Is it treatable with therapy or meds or both ? Cause and Effect in diagnostic testing leans to labeling conditions and the person is ‘marked’, feeling helpless at times. Having been down this dark road myself, helped me break the cycle of symptom treatment as I recognized the enemy was trying to destroy me thru MY CHOICES of self destructive behaviors. It was only in the darkness that I saw the Lord’s Light of Truth that guided me out of the Pit/Prison of Despair that I built for my supposed “comfort”. I discovered that flipping the anxiety, addiction, depression process actually produces the fruit of self-less service that fuels the Body of Christ. Though change is always painful, reflect on your TRAJECTORY or trend of transformation, who you are BEcoming in your BEhavior as a result of your BEliefs. Two steps up and one step down with ongoing effort is a healthy trend – we all fall down, it takes guts to get back up and “grow”.

The below 3 page content is from decades of unawareness to awareness – being broken (hearted) and lost (in how to heal), then found by the Shepherd as I (finally) chose to walk His Way and not stray, my healing continues every day. Lessons learned from my 32 year Army career, my part time trucking job and my part time Resilience Training business, have all revealed that Christianity is not a part time effort to be put aside when its inconvenient. We’re pilgrims on our journey Home, separated from Our Father thru sin in need of healing; we’re sinners called to be Saints, hating sin in ourselves and others, but loving the sinner. It’s always been our choice to be Vessels of Victors or Victims. Every day our pulse beckons our purpose to rise courageously amidst pain and suffering, to be a FULL TIME Christian with Spiritual awareness of the battle for souls – a Christian Soldier fulfilling the Great Commission, shining His Light so we can all find The WAY Home…
